Parklands is led by a senior eldership team who are: Brian Farr, Mike Day, Robert Griffiths and Chris Ditton.
Our Eldership, along with their wives, all have a heart for God and a passion for people. They believe in more than business and set examples of relational based Church in the way they work and live out their faith.
Parklands is also served by our staff team who are:
Brian Farr who is our full time staff elder and has been on the staff for over 15 years. His leadership covers many elements of Church life. Bri passionately believes that the local church is the “Hope for the World”! Bri also plays an active role in chairing the Swansea Hope steering group and, through this work, his desire is to see more Swansea Churches in relationship with each other and working together. He’s also passionate about Kit-Kats but only the four-finger kind—apparently they have more chocolate—go figure!!
Mandy Harvey is a mum of 3 with a creative flare and a budding author. Mandy is the Community Team Leader and has a heart for reaching the community’s needs where they are at. Mandy spends a lot of time building bridges within the local and city wide community and loves nothing more than to see people’s needs being met by the love of Jesus. Mandy is also passionate about chocolate but not Kit-Kats!!
Keefe Owen is the New Generation team leader and our full time youth and student leader. Keefe is a mad mountain biker with a passion for God and a passion to see an army of youth living for God’s glory! Keefe is also a qualified pilot...yep really!
Matt Crome, our trainee leader, is currently taking STEPS around the world with his wife Claire. They are working alongside different Churches and mission organisations whilst taking some time out surfing around the globe.
However….no Church functions without a host of dedicated and committed volunteers whose hearts are after the Lord’s and whose desire is to spread the Gospel. Some of these volunteers are part of our team leadership and head up various ministries within the Church.
